SEEKING HOST FAMILIES FOR VEMUN 2026
Dear parents and students,
As you may already know, the MUN clubs of the Lycée Franco Allemand and Lycée Notre Dame du Grandchamp are glad to host another VEMUN conference this year. We are both grateful and impatient to welcome high-schoolers from France, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Finland, the UK and several other European countries.
MUN, or Model United Nations, is a student-run club whose goal is to mimic actual UN legislative procedure, while debating on contemporary issues. This year, the theme is Guaranteeing Governance in the Global Future: What role for Europe?, and our conference aims to explore European issues, while taking into account global perspectives.
The conference will take place from the 13th to the 15th of March 2026, with a number of schools arriving on the 12th. The conference will end at 13h 00 on Sunday.
We are seeking host families for delegates attending from different schools. Hosting is a unique and enriching experience for families and students, even for those who won’t participate in the conference as delegates, but still want to engage with the international and cultural exchange that VEMUN promotes. Without your help, many of the students would be unable to attend our conference.
Being a host would imply taking care of transportation, sleeping arrangements and food for times when the delegate is not at VEMUN.

RECHERCHE DE FAMILLES D’ACCUEIL POUR VEMUN 2026
Chers parents et élèves,
Comme vous le savez peut-être déjà, les clubs MUN du Lycée Franco Allemand et du Lycée Notre Dame du Grandchamp sont heureux d’organiser cette année une nouvelle conférence VEMUN. Nous sommes très reconnaissants et impatients d’accueillir des lycéens de France, d’Allemagne, de Suisse, du Portugal, de Finlande, du Royaume-Uni et de plusieurs autres pays européens.
MUN, abréviation de Modélisation des Nations Unies, est un club organisé par des élèves dont l’objectif est d’imiter la procédure réelle de l’ONU, tout en débattant des questions d’actualité. Cette année, nos comités discuteront de sujets liés à la promotion des intérêts européens à l’échelle mondiale.
L’événement aura lieu du 13 au 15 mars 2026, certaines écoles arriveront le 12 mars. La conférence terminera le dimanche à 13h00.
Nous recherchons des familles d’accueil pour les lycéens issus des différentes écoles. Accueillir est une expérience unique et enrichissante pour les familles et les élèves, même pour ceux qui ne participent pas à l’événement en tant que délégué, mais qui souhaitent tout de même s’engager dans l’échange international et culturel promu par VEMUN. Sans votre aide, de nombreux étudiants n’auraient pas les capacités d’assister à notre conférence.
Être hôte implique la prise en charge du transport, de l’hébergement et des repas lorsque le délégué n’est pas à VEMUN.
